Terms of service
Last updated 12 October 2026. These terms are between CrownCall Ltd (company number 17514136, registered office 6 Clifton Court, Snakes Lane West, Woodford Green, London IG8 0DB) ("CrownCall", "we") and the business that subscribes to the service ("you").
1. The service
CrownCall provides an AI-powered telephone receptionist and front-office software service for trades businesses. The service answers calls in your business name, records the details given by callers, sends you summaries by text message and through the CrownCall app, and, where you enable it, books appointments into your diary. The service is provided to businesses, not consumers.
2. Price and payment
The subscription is £299 per month plus VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%, so £358.80 per month including VAT), charged in pounds sterling. Payment is taken monthly in advance by card through Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. If a payment fails we will tell you and retry; if it still fails after 7 days we may suspend the service until payment is made.
3. Term, cancellation and refunds
The subscription is monthly rolling. There is no minimum term. You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing kaan@crowncall.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for; the service runs until then and no further payments are taken. Because the service is provided and consumed month by month, we do not refund part months once a month has started, except where the service has been unavailable through our fault for more than 48 hours in that month, in which case we will refund that month in full on request.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate business details and keep them up to date; the receptionist answers using the information you provide.
- Tell callers, where the law requires it, that calls are answered by an automated system and may be recorded. We provide wording you can use.
- Divert your number to CrownCall only for a business you own or are authorised to act for.
- Use the service lawfully and not for emergency services, medical triage or any purpose where a failure to answer could endanger life.
5. What we don't promise
The receptionist is an AI system. It is very good but not perfect, and it may occasionally mishear, misunderstand or fail to answer a call, for example during a telephone-network or supplier outage. We work to fix problems quickly, but we do not guarantee that every call will be answered or every detail captured, and we are not liable for business you say you lost as a result. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
6. Data
Call recordings, transcripts and caller details are your data. We process them on your behalf as described in our privacy notice and data processing terms, and we delete or return them when your subscription ends, subject to any legal retention requirement.
7. Changes
We may change these terms or the price with at least 30 days' notice by email. If you don't accept a change you can cancel before it takes effect.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
